About Patrick

Patrick is a family history historian, founder of Every Generation Media and Windrush Generation campaigner who has spent over 15 years working and researching in the fields of family history, identity and mental health & wellbeing. In 2018 he headed the campaign calling on the government to grant an amnesty to anyone who arrived in the UK as a minor between 1948 and 1971.

“I have been campaigning for a national holiday called Windrush Day and launched the 2018 petition for the Windrush Generation to be recognised as British citizens, and to receive compensation for financial issues and emotional trauma as a result of the threat of deportation from Britain. I hope that the Windrush Game will raise awareness of the Windrush Generation and help ensure that people’s stories are shared and remembered.”
